Functional Safety Manager

• Supervise a multidisciplinary team to achieve project milestones and exceed customer expectations.
• Drive business development activities, including preparing offers, customer communication, and other commercial tasks to generate new business.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the functional safety department.
• Lead and manage all functional safety activities in our projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
• Ensure effective and efficient operative processes (quality-compliant and schedule-compliant, cost-effective provision of services with consistent and evenly spread utilization of resources)
• Deliver and conduct internal and external workshops and training in the field of Functional Safety and Security.
• Coordinate technical efforts between Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and AI domains.
• Support the sales team with product/project inputs (e.g. technical and quote estimates)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in system/software/hardware design and development.
• Minimum 7 years of functional safety implementation in automotive ECU development.
• Deep knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or equivalents).
• Experience with risk analysis, FMEDA, FTA, and other safety assessment methods.
• ASPICE knowledge or ASPICE provisional assessor status is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Leadership and experience with managing teams.
• Projects and tasks coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
