Responsibilities
1. IP Strategy Planning & Portfolio Management
o Develop and execute mid- to long-term IP strategies aligned with business and technology roadmaps
o Identify and assess the patentability of R&D outcomes
o Manage application, maintenance, and renewal processes for patents, trademarks, and copyrights
2. Patent Drafting and Prosecution
o Assist R&D engineers in preparing invention disclosures
o Collaborate with external patent attorneys to file and respond to office actions
o Analyze patent landscapes and competitor portfolios; provide strategic patent filing recommendations
3. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
o Evaluate and address potential IP risks, including freedom-to-operate and infringement analysis
o Handle IP disputes, enforcement actions, and licensing negotiations
o Assess third-party technology and supplier compliance with IP requirements
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Training
o Coordinate IP-related activities with R&D,
Ideal Candidate
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related technical field; legal or IP training is a plus
• Experience: At least 3 years of IP management experience in the electronics components industry (connector or high-frequency-related experience preferred)
• Skills:
o Familiar with patent law, trademark regulations, and international filing procedures (PCT, USPTO, CNIPA, etc.)
o Ability to interpret technical documents and draft patent disclosures
o Proficient in patent search tools (e.g., Google Patents, WIPO, TIPO)
o Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
